COVID-19 UPDATE

March 24, 2022

Dear Residents and Staff,

As the nation begins to normalize in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been challenged and  changed. While many senior living communities suffered great loss, Baptist Retirement Communities of  Georgia measured on the lower end of the national spectrum regarding the overall health of residents and  staff. Keeping the wellness of the residents and tenants have continued to be the utmost priority. This  season has allowed the BRCGA team to re-evaluate how and why our mission is so important. Many of  the challenges have created opportunities to learn, grow, and better the services, amenities, and buildings  that are offered to our residents.

Based upon the updated information received from the CDC and local health officials, Baptist Retirement  Communities has created the following guidelines as listed below:

Internal Groups Gatherings & Outdoor Activities BRCGA Internal group gatherings are permitted.  Masks are welcome, but not mandatory. Please continue to social distance no less than 6 feet apart, when  possible. All participants are required to adhere to cough/sneeze etiquette and follow proper handwashing  procedures while in BRCGA public spaces.

Apartment Tours have resumed at all properties. All guests are required to complete health screening,  including temperature check, and to social distance when interacting with any tenant or staff member.  Masks are welcome, but not mandatory on premises. Any guests experiencing any signs of illness or fever  will are asked to reschedule their visit.

On-site, Internal Vendor Work

Internal vendor work has resumed with specific guidelines. All vendors  are required to social distance from any tenant or staff member during time of on-site, internal visit. Any  vendors experiencing any signs of illness or fever will are asked to reschedule their visit. As in the past,  the vendor company must provide BRCGA with a written safety protocol that addresses COVID-19.

Unit Visits for Resident Families, Guests, Tenants, and Staff

Family members may now visit with their loved ones. Masks are welcome. Social distancing and all  COVID safety precautions will continue to be required while on BRCGA properties. Tenants and visitors may visit with other fully tenants in apartments or cottages and are welcome to wear masks. Social  distance no less than 6 feet, when possible. Tenants may request that a mask be worn by any employee  entering their unit to perform any service work such as maintenance, housekeeping, or dining delivery. Any visitor that shows signs of illness or have a fever, they are required to reschedule their visit. This will  remain in effect until BRCGA reassesses the COVID situation.

Outside Volunteers, Groups, or Partnerships

On-site partnership events have resumed at all three communities. Outside volunteer groups may gather  on campus. Please continue to social distance no less than 6 feet apart, when possible. Masks are  welcome, unless seated or for seated dining. All participants must adhere to cough/sneeze etiquette and  follow proper handwashing procedures while in BRCGA public spaces. All volunteers or groups must  also complete health screen check prior to traveling throughout interior of BRCGA properties.

Off-Campus Trips

Buses and/or vans have a limited capacity to prevent any possible COVID-19. Masks are welcome while

riding on the bus or van. Please continue to social distance, when possible. The local community  management will determine the start date and types of allowable trips. Any tenant showing signs of  illness or having fever must postpone any off-campus trips that utilizes BRCGA transportation.

Front Office: All offices are now open during normal business hours. We continue to request that guests  do their part in allowing one guest in the front office at a time, when possible. The staff is eager to assist  all residents and guests with any questions or concerns that may arise.

Dining: Palmetto Park Main Dining services have officially resumed for the lunch meal. Opening the  dining room encourages socialization and an established sense of normalcy that is vital to senior living.  Breakfast and Dinner will be delivered until further notice. This process allows the residents time to ease  into the transition of gathering on a routine basis for meals. Masks are welcome, but not required in the  Dining Room. Social distancing is encouraged until seated.

Palmetto Park has gone green! To go meals are now delivered in reusable green containers, reducing  significant waste in paper products while providing better food quality during deliveries. New menus  were introduced with exciting concepts and tastes.

Maintenance & After-Hours: Maintenance teams have resumed providing in-unit service and repairs.  Residents are welcome to submit work orders in-person or by phone during normal business hours. All  other after-hours work orders must meet the emergency work order requirements, as stated in the Resident  Handbook. Residents may ask staff to wear a mask while performing in-unit service, if necessary.

Housekeeping: Palmetto Park and Clairmont Crest housekeeping teams have undergone team training over the past few months. Clairmont Crest continues to provide housekeeping in public areas. Palmetto  Park continues to provide in-unit apartment housekeeping every other week. Residents may ask staff to  wear a mask while performing in-unit service, if necessary.

Salon, Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy Services: Salon, Massage Therapy, and Physical Therapy  services have resumed, depending on the community. All three services must be scheduled by the tenant with the individual service.

The well-being of all residents, guests, vendors, and staff remains of utmost importance to Baptist  Retirement Communities of Georgia. While we celebrate this season of normalcy and stabilization, we  must all strive to remain vigilant in protecting the residents of Baptist Retirement Communities of  Georgia day to day. Everyone plays a critical role in the fight against this illness. We ask for your  continued prayers as management continues to serve and protect our most valuable possession-the tenants  of BRCGA.

Continued Prayers of Blessings and Protection,

Sharalene Roper, Chief Operating Officer
